The Moody Cow - Apperley Bridge
Apperley Bridge
Yorkshire raised and reared, The Moody Cow is a growing herd of restaurants specialising in mouth-watering traditionally cooked steaks, juicy slow-roasted rotisserie meats and succulently grilled seafood. It’s no surprise customers find themselves on the horns a dilemma when it comes to choosing from our tempting menu. And that’s before you’ve started grazing at our extensive salad* and deli bars.In fact, when it comes to traditional British fare served in generous portions, we think each of our Moody Cow restaurants is in a field of its own. (Be warned, those expecting nouvelle cuisine in teeny-weeny potions will be politely asked to moove along.) With a wine list to die for, a superb range of exquisitely kept cask ales and classic cocktails on request, dining at any Moody Cow has everything you’d expect from any well-bred establishment.
Reds True Barbecue - Headingley
Headingley
Like lightning he was struck. The people of Britain knew nothing of True Barbecue. These poor souls were ignorant of prime cuts smoked, low and slow, so glorious that angels wept tears of joy. They knew nothing of glazes and rubs infused with flavour and worthy of worship. The people must be saved from the plague of sad sausage and rodent-sized ribs...The non believers must be led to places of joy to cleanse their souls with smoked offerings. But even the almighty couldn't act alone, so RED recruited disciples to spread the gospel. The annual sacred pilgrimage from the Carolinas in the North to Texas in the South, would ensure his flock feast as richly as the believers across the sea. People of Britain, fear no more. Rejoice. Let there be meat. Let there be flavour. LET THERE BE RED'S!
