The Beehive village restaurant is nestled in the picturesque village of Thorner just outside the city of Leeds.The Beehive was opened with the knowledge that it was possible to provide an inexpensive; quality led dining experience in a relaxed environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.Our offers have been developed to present a little something for everyone. You will see from the pricing structure that the principal of 'real value for money' is apparent whenever you are looking to visit us.At the Beehive we aim to provide a relaxed, casual dining experience without the fuss of traditional restaurants yet supported by a quality product not seen in your run of the mill country pub. The Beehive flies in the face of modern value dining by refusing to present the usual frozen products frequently seen on many menus today.

The Jewel of India is a family-owned Asian restaurant in the centre of Otley, in West Yorkshire. We have been here since 1982 although we opened our first eatery in 1979, the International in Bradford. Since then we′ve launched ones in York, Silver Spoon in Guiseley, Gulshan in Yeadon and most recently Westbourne Spice between Otley and Menston.We have 34-seats downstairs plus a further 38 upstairs for large groups or private dining, and we are able also to provide catering for events such as wedding or birthdays."We use only the finest ingredients and traditional herbs and spices in the preparation of our food to help create an authentic taste of India which, we believe, can′t be matched anywhere else."We have an exclusive menu to choose from with a wide choice of vegetarian dishes; I hope you will experience a memorable style of Indian cooking prepared exactly to your taste."Customer care is of the highest of priority, so please don′t hesitate to ask for help with the menu. We will do our utmost to make your visit a pleasurable experience; and if a particular dish is not on the menu our head chef will be more than happy to prepare it for you."Our takeaway food is prepared in exactly the same way as that eaten in the restaurant and delivery is free on order over £10 within a four-mile radius, ie Burley, Menston, Pool-in-Wharfedale, Bramhope and Guiseley. We also offer free delivery to Yeadon and Rawdon on orders over £20. We′ll also give you a complimentary bottle of wine if your order is over £20 and you collect it or £30 if we deliver.We also stock a large range of beers, wines, spirits and liquors. Our beers include Cobra, Kingfisher and Carlsberg, while our wines take in reds, whites, and rosé from around the world, and we also keep a selection of sparkling wines and Champagnes.If it′s your birthday or a special occasion we′ll provide a complimentary cake to your party (groups of four or more), but please let us know at least two weeks in advance.Over the year’s we′ve played host to many local charities and events such as Otley Courthouse, Otley & District Riding for the Disabled, Behind Closed Doors, Otley Action for Older People, plus the annual Pool Feast and Otley RUFC.
